How The Palestinian- Israeli activist youth feel about the right government wing wining the elections in Israel

The recent victory of the right-wing government in Israel has generated a variety of reactions from both Palestinian and Israeli activist youth. While the right-wing government's victory is concerning to many, it is also seen as an opportunity to continue working towards a just and peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and an opportunity for the world to see Israel for what it truly is.

For Palestinian activist youth, the right-wing victory in Israel is particularly alarming. The election results signal a shift towards more aggressive policies towards the Palestinian people, including increased settlement expansion in the West Bank and the annexation of Palestinian territories. This could make it even more difficult to achieve a peaceful resolution to the conflict and lead to further violations of Palestinian rights.

Many Palestinian activist youth have expressed frustration and disappointment at the election results. They view the right-wing government as a continuation of the status quo of occupation and oppression, and fear that the government's policies will lead to more violence and instability in the region. It also signifies that the peace camp in Israel is very weak.

However, some Palestinian activist youth also see the right-wing victory as an opportunity to continue their struggle for Palestinian rights and to build alliances with Israeli activists who are committed to social justice and human rights. They see the election results as a wake-up call for those who have been complacent or apathetic towards the Palestinian struggle, and are motivated to redouble their efforts to raise awareness about the occupation and to advocate for a just and peaceful resolution to the conflict.

For Israeli activist youth, the right-wing victory is also concerning. Many are opposed to the government's policies towards the Palestinian people and fear that the election results will further entrench the occupation and make it even more difficult to achieve a just and peaceful resolution to the conflict. However, there are also Israeli activist youth who support the right-wing government and its policies. These activists often come from the settler community and view the annexation of Palestinian territories as a way of securing Israel's future as a Jewish state. They believe that the Palestinian people are not entitled to the same rights as Israeli citizens, and that Israel has a right to assert control over the entire land of Israel. This poses as a challenge in the joint meetings and many arguments happen between both sides.

For Israeli activist youth who are committed to social justice and human rights, the right-wing victory is a setback. They view the government's policies towards the Palestinian people as discriminatory and unjust, and fear that the election results will lead to further violations of human rights. They felt depressed and stigmatized for being on the left wing and raising their voices in demonstrations.

Despite these differences in perspective, there are also areas of common ground between Palestinian and Israeli activist youth. Both groups are committed to social justice and human rights, and recognize the need for a just and peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Many Palestinian and Israeli activist youth have formed alliances and are working together to advocate for a two-state solution, an end to the occupation, and the recognition of the rights of both the Palestinian and Israeli people.
